MASON DIVORCES VICTORIA

After Victoria returns from drug rehab, Mason is forced to make a choice between two families. He chooses a new life with Julia, enraging Victoria who vows to make them both pay. Mason's attempts to manipulate the situation make Julia worry that the divorce may never happen. A tragedy throws the whole situation into perspective and brings about a resolution.

"I'm going to tell Victoria that my marriage to her is over."
"I'm tired of denying what you've suspected all along."
"We ought to be celebrating."
"Do you have any idea how much I adore you?"
"When I think of Victoria, I feel awful."
"I've stopped living the lie."
"What the hell do you think he's leaving Victoria for?"
"Just having a father daughter talk."
"This is particularly uncomfortable."
"What's the matter darling, am I embarrassing you?"
"I think the cocaine was just the symptom of the marriage."
"We promised no secrets, remember?"
"My official residence is now a suite at the Capwell Hotel."
"Julia, I'm as concerned about this as you are."
"She wants everything."
"It's difficult to imagine Victoria being quite that vindictive."
"What's five million dollars Julia?"
"I want you so badly my teeth hurt."
"I'm not the best critic."
"Welcome back Wainwright."
"I'm going to make you pay."
"The woman sets the tone in the relationship."
"May I assume this is not a celebration?"
"What kind of idiot thing was that to do?"
"Maybe she ought to win."
"Did Julia throw you out?"
"It's starting to make me feel dirty and I hate it."
"I'm doing my best to be fair to everyone."
"I think she really hates me."
"I think we've said enough for the moment."
"There goes your strategy."
"I want to be your Betty Crocker?"
"I shouldn't have fed you all that sugar."
"We're going to have to be together as equals."
"You brought it on yourself."
"You want a nice, quiet, polite divorce? So do I."
"We have no electricity, no phone."
"Drop your demands and I'll reconsider the cracker rations."
"Why couldn't you and Jason find your own little hideaway?"
"It sure is quiet up there"
"Will you people please make up your minds?"
"What are we supposed to do, sit here and freeze to death?"
"Sorry I called Victoria my wife."
"They took him into surgery 10 minutes ago."
"Doesn't that require an operation?"
"You must be as wrung out as I am."
"I am staying right here until you open up your eyes."
"Do you know if your husband had a living will?"
"He's going to be all right. He's not going to die. He can't."
"We're in the middle of a divorce."
"Please don't give up on him."
"I'm going to drop all of my demands."
"I love you, you're awake and I love you!"
"Money didn't seem that important."
"You want to play doctor?"
"Julia is now the woman in my life."
"You don't trust me to go to Santo Tomaso with Victoria."
"Julia, try not to be unreasonable."
"Maybe you preferred it when you could see my backside."
"It gives me great pleasure to watch her mind work."
"I'm in the lobby."
"Victoria Lane Capwell what the hell is going on here?"
"Why do I get the feeling nothing is going to change?"
"I am not going to track any man down."
"He's your ex-son-in-law.."
"My settlement payment from Mason is three days overdue."
"Get someone else to answer the irate calls."
"I didn't expect to see the two of you here."
"I want you to stay home and take care of me."
"That was a rude and irrelevant thing to say."
"I don't want anyone thinking I can't control my wife."
"You're the most exciting woman I've ever met."
"Beautiful morning, wonderful night."
"How does someone OD in a drug clinic?"
"Ever since you came her, it feels warm and secure."
"You call yourself a lawyer?"
"Neanderthal reasoning?"
"You cook for a week if I win."
"Mercifully, I have blocked it all from my mind."
"Mason is just a little more willful than most men."
"I knew he'd make a spectacle of himself, and he did."
"Wat's the matter hot lips, one kiss not enough?"
"You were there last night, weren't you?"
"I wish you could just try to see my point of view."
"You're a lousy winner."
"I won't be contentious, I promise."
"I understand that it's very important to you."
"I thought things were rosy between you and him."
"I think the best thing for me to do is move out."
"You and Mason love each other, you'll work it out."
"Mason don't go crawling back into your shell."
"I'm on the verge of making a commitment."
"She thinks we're wonderful together."
"Don't you ever think before you talk?"
"That's one room for the two of you."
"Nobody does this to Mason Capwell!"
"Will you marry me? There's nobody else like you."
"You're my handsome knight with a white pitchfork."
"I think the collar's too stiff."
"The thought that you might be next, terrifies you."

To compensate for her lack of comedic technique, Brown looks to the GH directors and her castmates for guidance. "A couple of our actors like Billy Warlock and Nancy Lee Grahn (AJ and Alexis), are really great at that kind of stuff. I ask them questions - whatever I can think of - and I soak it up," she says. -Sarah Brown, SOW, 2000
