We don't have the rest of this specific story, but the gist of the rest of the story is that Julia successfully gets David Laurent acquitted and goes with him to the cabin to celebrate, but she finds out about his affair with Sheila Carlyle and their schemes during the trial. She also finds the dumbbell used in the murder and hides it from David. She locks herself in the bathroom of the cabin, but David breaks in after her with an ax. She escapes to a ranger station where Sheila appears and fights with David. They accuse each other of murdering Madeline. Both are arrested for their other crimes. Months later, it's revealed that Courtney killed her sister, but it was in self-defense.

To compensate for her lack of comedic technique, Brown looks to the GH directors and her castmates for guidance. "A couple of our actors like Billy Warlock and Nancy Lee Grahn (AJ and Alexis), are really great at that kind of stuff. I ask them questions - whatever I can think of - and I soak it up," she says. -Sarah Brown, SOW, 2000
